Betty Jean Watson Butcher

Celebration of Life will be held on her 84 birthday, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 2:00 P.M., at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Destin Emerson, great-grandson, officiating.

Betty was born Tuesday, July 9, 1929 in Denison, Texas to Thomas Edward Watson and Frances Elizabeth Jackson. She married George Butcher on June 24, 1974 in Durant, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah McBride and husband Ronald of Denison, Texas, Phyllis Floyd and husband Garry of Van Buren, Arkansas; sister Carolyn Wilkerson and husband Bobby of Gorman, Texas; 5 grandchildren Christie Robertson of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Ashley Palmer of Denison, Texas, Ronnie McBride II of Sherman, Texas, Stacie Moss of Hackett, Arkansas, Tyson Floyd of Van Buren, Arkansas; numerous great-grandchildren and her Guardian Angel and care giver Stacy Hulsopple of Denison, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Butcher, sister Mary Bishop, two brothers Wayne Watson and Jimmy Ray Watson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Alzheimer’s Association.
