He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, on June 24, 1953.
He was married to Aida Acevedo (Nee Garcia) for forty years
He worked with the Board of Education in Irvington, New Jersey for twenty-five years, prior to his retirement in 2009. After living and working in New Jersey for thirty-eight years he retired to Puerto Rico until 2018 when he relocated to Delray Beach, Florida
He was survived by his wife Aida Acevedo, his sons, Hector Luis Acevedo Jr. and Luis Armando Acevedo. Also survived by his daughter in-law, Priscilla Ozodo-Acevedo, sisters, uncle, cousins and several nieces and nephews
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at Riverside Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 7205 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach FL 33446
Followed by interment at Bailey Memorial, 7801 Bailey Road N Lauderdale FL 33068
