Mr. Ruben Barragan Garcia

Ruben Barragan Garcia 1926-2010 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was born February 16, 1926 in Brawley, California. Mr. Garcia was retired from Delano Co-op Winery in Delano. Mr. Garcia passed away peacefully on June 10, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Garcia. Daughters: Yolanda Barrios, and Celia Garcia. Sons: Ruben Garcia Jr., and Richard Garcia. Brothers: Frank Garcia, Ignacio Garcia, and Louis Garcia. Sister: Dee Camarillo. Eight grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his father, Silverio Garcia and his mother, Angelita Garcia. Also one brother, John Garcia. Services are as follows: Evening Service, Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Delano Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service: Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at North Kern Christian Center 1201 Madison St. Delano, California. Pallbearers will be: Marc Barrios, George Alvarado, Phillip Azua, Christian Cabral, James Pasillas and Mark Gutierrez. Presiding clergy will be Pastor Joseph Wright. Burial will be at North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California.
