Sherry Ann Kirk passed away on January 18, 2019. She was born on February 7, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas. Her parents, Lloyd and Ethel, moved with her and the rest of her family to Del City when she was 4 years old. She spent the rest of her childhood growing up there and attended Del City schools. Sherry went to business school for a while, and after that, worked as a typist for the State of Oklahoma. It was there that she met her husband, Ted, who was working the snack bar. He would sing “Sherry Baby” to her when they saw each other. They were married on November 1, 1980. Together they had 4 children. Family was very important to Sherry; she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted Kirk; sister, Vivian Littlefield; and brother, Leonard McKee.
She is survived by her 4 children, Donnie Kirk, Melissa Shockley (husband Daniel), Jessica Kirk, and Matthew Kirk; 2 grandchildren, Dakota Kirk and Serenity Shockley; and many other family and friends.
