Ronnie Othel Carey

Ronnie O. Carey, 55, of Newalla, passed away May 17, 2018 in Oklahoma City. He was born June 18, 1962 in Oklahoma City, the son of Otis and Ruth (Burns) Carey. Ronnie was a salvage buyer and enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, racing cars, riding 4 wheelers and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Rhonda Carey. He is survived by his wife Tammy Carey of Newalla; his mother, Ruth Carey of Oklahoma City; daughters, Laura Hannah and husband Jacob of Ada and Lacy Carey and husband Kaleb Hopkins of Choctaw; step-children, Joshua Johnson of Bells, Texas, Jeffrey Johnson of Blanchard and Jennifer Wingo of McAlester; brother, Bryon Carey of Moore; grandchildren, Camren, Cole, Dawsen, Tucker, Isiah, Gracie, Lola and Weston; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
