Patricia "Pat" Ann Franks

Patricia Ann Franks "Pat" was born on February 20, 1942 in Piru, California to Hodge Paul Lawrence and Stella Mae Nichols Lawrence. Pat married her husband Garvin Walter Franks in Ventura, California on September 30, 1960. The two had six children: Gordon Randall "Randy" Franks and his children Shannon, Joshua, Matthew and Victoria; Sherri Maguire and her children Jonathan, Becky and Misty; Sondra "Sandy" Bates and her children Angie, Matthew, Max and Amber; Crystal Chappell (husband Joe) and their children Joey, Jimmy, Christopher, Cynthia and Carrie; Gregory Franks and his children Forest, Sydney and Makayla; and Melonie Copeland (husband Bruce) and their children Katie, Brittany, Cody and Jacob, whom Pat adopted and raised as her own. Pat has 28 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Hodge and Stella; husband Garvin; children Randy and Sandy; grandchildren Jonathan, Angie and Joshua; great-grandchildren Junior, Crystal and Kaylee.

She is survived by her three daughters Sherri, Crystal, and Melonie, and grandchildren Katie, Cody, Jacob, Cynthia, Carrie (son Colt), Jimmy, Joey, Christopher, Max, Matthew, Amber, Matthew, Victoria, Shannon, Becky, Misty, Forrest, Sydney, and Makayla.

Pat enjoyed camping, fishing, playing card games and dominoes, and shopping. The family, while they are grieving, are doing their best to remember that she is in a better place and she's seeing all these people that she has missed, and is no longer in pain or suffering, and is just up there having a great time with Jesus. Pat gained her wings at 10:01am on January 22, 2024 surrounded by the people she loved and who loved her.

A visitation for Pat will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
