Mavis Mote (Cooper) was born on November 27, 1926 in Pottsville, Arkansas, to Albert and Zella Cooper. She passed away on December 9, 2021. She resided in Del City, Oklahoma. She retired from the BX at Tinker AFB in the 1970’s and became a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, and being with her family. Mavis always made sure her family had their favorite dessert, especially on their birthdays. Mavis is survived by her three brothers: A.D. Cooper (Cleo), R.L. Cooper (Shirley), and Bobby Cooper (Jean), all of Washington; two daughters: Jan Beeler and LaDonna Kendall (Austin); four grandchildren: Chris Kendall (Tonya), Bobby Beeler (Brandie), Matt Kendall (Renee) and Lisa Beeler; and eight great-grandchildren: Michael Beeler (Mariah), Morgan Beeler, Brianna Beeler, Talon Blackshire, Madeline Kendall, Susanna Kendall, Philip Kendall, and Violet Kendall. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Mote; sisters: Zettie Head and Laveta Eubanks; and brother, William Cooper.
