Mary Virginia Lea Glasgow, 96 of Midwest City, OK, passed away on October 30, 2023. She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1926 in Roff, Oklahoma to Jessie Taylor King and Sarah (Bowden) King. On December 23, 1949 she married the love of her life Glen Glasgow. They were married for 52 years. She worked 6 years at Tinker AFB from 1945-1951 and later 24 years as secretary at Midwest City High School 1962-1986. She was a member of the Ridgecrest Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter Peggy Clark of Midwest City, OK, a son Perry Glasgow (Kathy) of Bethany, OK, one grandson Matthew Clark (Maria) of Stillwater, OK, two granddaughters Amanda Keesee (Dustin) of Edmond, OK and Meagan Draper (Preston) of Oklahoma City, OK, and seven great-grandchildren, Ella Clark, Mattie Clark, Parker Keesee, Charlotte Clark, Dylan Keesee, Bruce Draper, and Scottie Draper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Glasgow, son-in-law Lee Clark, great-grandson Archie Draper, her parents, and her 8 siblings, Laura Crawford, Addie Ryan, Jessie McNair, Alfred King, Bill King, Nova Kifer, Joe King, and JB King.
The family would also like to thank all the people associated with Wellington Parke Assisted Living and Memory Care and Legacy Family Hospice for all the love and care she got while she was there.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ridgecrest Church of Christ.
A visitation for Mary will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Ridgecrest Church of Christ, 500 N Air Depot Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73110. Burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK.
