Marie B. Morrison was born Oct. 16, 1944 in OKC, OK to Theodore Haskell and Goldie Ann Bishop. She passed away Jan. 10, 2023 in MWC, OK at the age of 78. Marie grew up in central OK with a fiery and spirited personality. That spirited personality was evident throughout her life.
She met Jack Morrison and they got married in Aug. of 1960. As life happens Marie and Jack’s paths separated. Marie continued her life and was married to Roy Ward for many years.
Throughout those years, Marie worked as an administrative assistant to Mr. Melton, giving her the opportunity to extensively travel the U.S. Marie’s only condition was no travel on holidays. One Thanksgiving travel was unavoidable but Marie insisted Roy & Goldie join her, giving them the opportunity to celebrate the holiday together at The Drake in Chicago. Over the years, they continued to enjoy vacationing together, in style.
After Roy’s passing, Marie and Jack rekindled their love and were remarried in Aug, 2014. They enjoyed their lives together and made many more memories together with their families, until Marie left her earthly home.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Ward, brother, Ted Bishop & brother-in-law Bill Jeffcoat.
She is survived by her husband Jack Morrison, his sons Jack Jr. & Jeremy, grandsons, Jeremy Jr, Nick, Jack Jack & other grandchildren. Daughter Goldie & husband Larry Joe Harding, granddaughter Melissa & husband BJ Glisson & their children, Julie & Sam. Very special niece Sharon & husband Ted Sanderson, sister, Margaret Jeffcoat, brother Melvin Bishop & wife Sandy, and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
