Linda Jean Bidwell-Alongi passed away on Thursday, November 23rd, Thanksgiving Day of 2023 at the age of 70 in the presence of her husband at their home in Moore, Ok after a strong battle with CoPd and Emphysema.
Linda was born on November 9, 1953 with her twin Brother Rick Alongi at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok to Mary Francis Massengale and Osper Leroy Alongi, who was better known as Ozzie. She was raised in California where she spent most of her childhood with her 5 brothers Rick, Robert, Tommy, Danny and Larry. In Ft. Smith, Arkansas 1990, Linda married her life partner and love of her life nuj Jack Bidwell. They were inseparable for over 33 years until her passing in 2023. Their marriage serves as an example of enduring love and commitment. Through life’s challenges and triumphs Linda and Jack stood side by side growing a stronger bond with each passing year. Their love story continues to inspire those who knew them.
Linda’s Legacy lives on through her loving husband Jack, 8 children, 15 grandkids, 19 great grandkids and 1 great-great grandson. Linda’s unwavering dedication to her loved one’s was evident in all she did as she was the cornerstone of her family’s strength and unity.
Linda’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter and cherished moments with family and extended loved ones. She had a deep passion for her Italian culture, bringing her family together, providing a secure foundation, and a source of support for her family. She made her spiritual walk with God a priority, she loved sewing and making her kids and grandkids blankets. She couldn’t get enough of her photo printing, making collages and putting together photo albums. She was in love with her time spent in Eufaula at her and Jacks lot on the lake where they had the opportunity to live alone together for a short period of time enjoying morning coffee together and rides on their pontoon boat. She spent her last few years studying her Bible, raising her youngest kids, Listening to Klove, and watching TBN or old Western movies while texting or calling different family members regularly just to check in and give words of encouragement.
Linda was known for her kind and compassionate nature, she had a gentle spirit and a heart full of love for her family and extended loved ones. She had a nurturing and caring personality with a quirky sense of humor. She was beautiful inside and out.
Linda Jean Bidwell-Alongi’s presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her and her memories will be cherished for years to come. She was adored by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Her wisdom and guidance will be dearly missed. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
