Laura was born in Fort smith, Arkansas to Ward Kermit Peebles and Dorothy Lee Peebles. Laura lived in Midwest City for 38 years then moved to Rush Springs in 2023. She was born on June 24,1945. She attended nursing school in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where she received her LPN and went on to be a nurse for 60 years.
Laura married her husband, Mike, on June 8, 1984, where Laura had one daughter, Carlin; and Mike had one son, Scotty and one daughter, Crystal. Mike passed away in December of 2022. Laura enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats.
Laura is survived by her brother, Larry Ward and his son, Jon Peebles; sister, Susan Kaufman and her son, Kristopher Kaufman; daughter, Carlin Perry-Nevel and her husband, Merle David Nevel; grandchildren, Margaret Perry, Frances White and her husband Linden White, with their daughter. Sophia White, Shauna Young and her husband Justin Jones and their children, Jazmine, Amelyah, Symphonie, Jaxon and AJ, Amanda Jette and her children, Joseph, Braxton, Joseph Robert , and Michael.
Visitation for Laura will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 4-8:00 pm, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
