Janine Jan Kay Douglas Lollar

Janine Kay Lollar (Jan) 60, left this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Jan moved with her family from Altus to Midwest City and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1969. While attending high school she was also attending beauty college, and working part time at Tubb Drug Store in Midwest City and an Ice Cream Parlor in Del City. Following graduation from high school and beauty college, she worked as a hairdresser for over 30 years then worked in the Oklahoma City School system for several years. She later began working at Target in their food court, as a cashier or wherever they needed her and this was the job she held at the time of her passing. Jan was a loving, caring and giving person who never met a stranger. She loved animals especially her dogs. She is survived by her husband Stephen of the home and her mother, Gwen Shirley both of Midwest City and several nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, William L. Douglas, stepfather, Bruce Shirley, and twin sister Janell Douglas. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory.
