James Isaac Veach Passed away on Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 in the comfort of home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 13, 1932 to Hollan and Nannie Veach in Millburn , Oklahoma. When James was 8 his family moved to a farm in Ada, Oklahoma. He attended Homer Grade School as well as Byng High School.
After serving in the army James moved to Del City, Oklahoma where he met and married the love of his life Imogene in 1957. Together they raised two sons, Lester and Charlie. James worked for Demco for most of his life as a machinist. Toward the end of his career he worked as a building engineer for Mid-Del Schools. It was here that he was able to use his talents to serve handicapped children.
Of course being a country man he enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing and good country cooking, which he usually got at Madison’s in Del City. He could fix anything and loved automobiles but nothing could take the place of the love and joy he felt when he was with his family. After all spending time with them was always the best part of his day.
