Charles Edwin Thompson Sr., 89 year old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Passed away on December 12, 2018 in Harrah, Oklahoma. Born October 14, 1929 in Tuskegee, Oklahoma. He was the son of John Martin Thompson and Ima Grace (Price) Thompson. Charles was a longtime machine tool mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. He loved fishing for catfish, restoring old cars, and in his later years he enjoyed taking care of his two "wiener" dogs. Preceding him in death were his parents, all of his siblings and 1 grandson, Charles E. Thompson III. Survivors include 3 sons and 3 daughters, Martin and his wife "Cho" Thompson of Florida, Charlie Thompson, and Jason Thompson, Both of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Colleen Browning; Karen and her husband Jimmy Meyer of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Carla and her husband Stewart Hollenbaugh of Prague, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma 73115 with private burial to follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma.
