She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on December 9th, 1950. Barbara graduated from
high school in 1968. She received her high school diploma from Comstock High School.
She married Roger Corriveau on August 30th, 1985 whom she was married to for 37 years at the time of her passing.
Barbara had several careers in her adult life; from department store manager to accountant, but the job that she loved the most was caring for and watching children. From family and friends to people recommended by family and friends, she has cared for and helped raise over 75+ kids since 1999. Her oldest grandson started calling her ‘Meme’ when he was just able to talk and she has been Meme to many ever since.
She LOVED OU football and really, anything OU sports related. She attended football, baseball, softball, hockey, and soccer matches. On Saturdays in the fall, you would most likely see her enjoying a crisp cool Dr. Pepper along with great conversation and lots of football at the N-Zone Crew tailgate on OU’s campus.
When she wasn’t watching kids or going to sporting events, she was spending her time with her family. They went on shopping trips and vacations all over the U.S. Her family also couldn’t get enough of her cooking, so there was always a family function at Meme’s house.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother Frances M Carrol of Norman, father Clyde C Stanfill of Kalamazoo, sister Patricia Wheeler (Stanfill) of Florida; Grandparents Roy and Blanche Johnston (Hill) of Purcell; Fletcher and Artence Stanfill (McCurdy) of Kalamazoo.
She is survived by her husband Roger Corriveau of Norman; brother Harold Roberts and wife Stacy of Oklahoma City; daughter Trina Scott and husband Danny of Norman; daughter Rebecca Bernal of Norman; son Charles Rogers Jr and wife Lindsey of Oklahoma City; 8 Grandchildren; Brauc Hudgins and wife Sarah of Norman; Chase Hudgins of Norman; Ashley Vinson and husband Tyler of Oklahoma City; Dakota Hudgins and girlfriend Jamie Mcleod of Norman; Jacob Brown of Norman; Surina Neagles and husband Carson of Panama City Beach, Florida; Charles Rogers III of Oklahoma City; Molly Rogers of Oklahoma City; and 6 great grandchildren Kai, Rosie, Ava, Bonnie, Riley and Noah.
A memorial service will be held in the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home (5005 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115) at 10 AM on Thursday, July 13th 2023 and will be officiated by Joseph (Trey) Roberts.
