PACE, Robert, 67 of Deerfield Beach passed away on the evening of June 11, 2015 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, FL as a result of complications during heart surgery. A native of New York, Robert or Bobby as most called him made South Florida his home for the last 40 yrs. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his beloved wife Georgia and his son Robert Jr. Bobby was one of those rare individuals who was always full of life and laughter. He was able to see the bright side of life and his gift to those he knew and even strangers was to be a shining example of how rich and wonderful life could be. He spent much of his life in the music industry having been a dancer in his early years and then a tour manager with some of the famous Rock and Roll acts of the Woodstock era. He left a legacy that inspired people to enjoy life in the moment despite whatever hardships they may have. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but none more than his wife, son and friends. Bobby and Georgia had a rare bond and though they were mostly inseparable Bobby found the time to keep long standing relationships in tact. He had an uncanny ability to make people laugh, whether a stranger in a grocery store or a deck hand on a cruise ship which was a passion he shared with Georgia. Bobby loved a good hot dog as much as a great steak and a walk on the beach ad much as a cruise with Georgia. He was a one of a kind man who will not be forgotten. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton. www.tricountyanimalrescue.com Visitation will be on Friday, June 19th from 6-8 pm at KRAEER-BECKER FUNERAL HOME 217 E.
