Luane Elizabeth Swanson

Luane E. Swanson of Deerfield Beach, Florida died suddenly on December 20th, 2021. She was the daughter of Diane Swanson and the late Lyle (bud) Swanson. Luane leaves behind her Mom, her long-time partner Marc Nadridge, her sons Bryan Felber, Aaron (A.J.) felber and Steve Schafer, her siblings Lyle (Skip) Swanson and his wife Cyndi, Mark Swanson and his wife Terri, David Swanson, and Janel (Swanson) Meier and her husband Travis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Luane moved to Florida several years ago to be closer to her parents and Grandma Viv. Her family is grateful for the way she helped care for her parents during difficult times, especially in the past year taking care of her sweet Mom.

Besides her family, Luane had a deep love for animals. She provided a revolving door for cat and dog rescues that needed a loving home. Luane was very tenacious and never gave up despite life's many challenges. She had a strong sense of responsibility but also enjoyed having fun to keep life in balance.

Luane was known to enjoy a good Happy Hour and shared a lot of fun with her community friends, the "Tidewater Babes," where they often enjoyed margaritas by the pool.

Luane will be missed most especially as we enter the holiday season. Christmas made Luane glow. Every year she baked hundreds of cookies to share with family and friends. Luane's Christmas lights were up before Halloween, and she dressed in festive clothing with her trademark Christmas earrings throughout the holidays. She was indeed Mrs. Christmas. She always made sure everyone was happy at family gatherings and we will all miss her deviled eggs and Lil' Smokies.

A star will shine brighter in the Heavens now that Luane's spirit is looking down over us.

Because Luane and her dear Mom, Diane, passed away so close together, there will be a join service for them both. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM followed by a memorial service from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E. Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441.
