Jennifer Leigh Vinson

Jenny, the oldest of three children, was born on November 23, 1980, in Plantation, Florida to Dennis and Sharon Vinson. As a young teen, Jenny and her family moved to Melbourne Beach, Florida where she graduated from Melbourne High School in 1999.

Growing up, “Vinny,” as some of her close friends knew her, spent most of her time either at the beach or playing sports on an athletic field. She played soccer, basketball, and softball. She had a great love of the water, both at the beach and in a swimming pool. She loved the sun, sand, and salty air. She loved being outdoors. She also loved football, whether she was watching her little bro play or watching her favorite Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins play. She was a loyal fan of both.

After moving to the Southwest Coast of Florida, she spent many years managing day spas, both in Naples and Port Charlotte.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Vinson; her brother, Daniel Vinson; Paternal Grandparents, James and Brucene Vinson; Maternal Grandparents, Kenneth and Dorothy Conner; and Aunt, Lisa Burkhardt.

Jennifer is survived by her Mother, Sharon Vinson; Sister, Jessica Vinson; Fiancé, Randy Whaley; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Jenny was always celebrated for her curious and loving spirit, as well as her warm compassionate heart. She lives on in the hearts of all those she touched.
