Debra Lynn Bender

Debra Bender-Balazich, of Deerfield Beach, passed away November 11th, 2022. She was born on June 27th, 1962. Debra graduated from Carlisle High School and received a bachelor’s degree at Wright State University.

Debra married her husband, Dale Balazich, on August 10th, 1991.

Debra was the CEO of Net Healthcare from 1995 to 2000 and MNA Healthcare from 2015 to 2022 for travel nursing. She also worked in real estate.

During her time in Dayton, Ohio, Debbie loved her Farm Home called the JB Ranch, which was named after her father, Jerry, and Dale’s mother, Bernadette. Debbie & Dale would hold PRCA rodeos at the farm to raise money for the Dayton Hospitals and the Dayton Candelighter’s Inc. to benefit children that had cancer. She always talked about her High School and College friends stating the great times she had with her friends. She loved her family dearly.

Debra had a passion for horses, boating, and snorkeling in the Florida Keys. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale with her husband, Dale. She loved Jesus and we all know she’s gone home to be with the Lord.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Gerold Bender.

Debra is survived by her mother, Patricia Bender, her sisters, Jill Bender and Lisa Boyle, and her brother Michael Bender. She is also survived by her nieces, Shelby York, Delaney Bender, Michelah Bender, Madeline Bender, and Olivia Boyle, her nephews, Casey Boyle, Max Boyle, and Brandon PaPuga, her great nephews, Brooks York and Connor York, and her great niece Charlotte Boyle.

Debra’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at the Moose, 2110 Central Avenue, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Debra will later be buried at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio.
