Thinking of Ray and remembering all the good and fun times we shared as Cousins!!!Just saw some Halloween pictures.  Did we look hysterical!  Love you Ray.

I was very sorry to read that Ray Russo had died.  I met Ray when I was first hired to teach English at Lindenhurst HS.  Ray was a senior teacher  very well liked and respected by his colleagues and students.  He was dedicated and hardworking.  If I had to choose one word to describe Ray, I would choose the word KIND.  May Ray Russo rest in peace.  The world has lost a good man.

We will remember Ray as a sweet, intelligent, kind cousin in our family.  Mike and I will always remember his visit to Arizona when he golfed with Mike and had dinner with us at our home.  We had a wonderful conversation that day and we enjoyed his company so much.
He will always be loved and missed by us and all who knew him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Marian,
We will always remember the last time we were together for the Blessing of the Couples on Feb. 12 this year.  It was so special to be together at St. John's where we met all those year ago.  And the best part was that we were the OLDEST couples at the ceremony!  We thank God for the gift of you and Ray in our lives.  We remember all the good times we had when our kids were growing up.  Your love and your goodness has sustained our very special bond and we are grateful and privileged to be a part of your life.  We love you!❤️  Cathy and Bob


If we are just visitors to this life, then Ray Russo occupied a five star place in it. Loyal to his family, loyal to his friends, loyal to his humanitarian beliefs, loyal to the Mets (win or lose) and loyal to his Faith.  Ray sought solutions not excuses for problems he encountered.  He put himself second to the condition of others. 
Ray truly represented Mathew’s gospel; “ What you have done to the least amongst us, so you have done to me.” In the final record, I am sure that this man will spend eternity in peace. I am 1500 miles away but I morn for him and for the loss to his loving family.

I remember my colleague  Ray as a good teacher and a kind and gentle man. Ray was the kind of teacher who gave teachers a good name.  May Ray Rest In Peace.

I am very sad to hear of Ray Russo's passing.  He was an important member of the St. Joseph's College family, and was always such a presence at events, especially those with some historical aspects.  He had joy, curiosity, and vitality to add to the college community.  What a loss for his beloved wife, Marian.  Prayers for his passing, and for her moving forward.  

So sorry to learn of Rays passing.  He was a tennis buddy for many years.  Although he could be stubborn at times he had a great sense of fairness and a heart of gold.  He will be missed,
