Son of Andres Santiago, and Nicanora Avila Santiago.
Arturo A Santiago began his journey to his American Dream by applying to serve the US Navy while living in Asingan, Pangasinan, in 1966. He courageously re enlisted and sacrificed his own vessel to become a good provider for his less fortunate family members in the Phillipines, and his wife that he adored more than anything. He served under the United States flag for 21 years before his Honorable discharge so he can devote himself to care for his daughter and his wife's extended family.
He will always be remembered and appreciated for his sacrifices to provide the best lifestyle for his family, his inspirational life lessons of economical and financial guidance he'd pass down to his daughter, and his culinary skills that offered warmth and good tidings for his family and friends.
Survived by his wife of 48 years Teresita Necesito Santiago, 76 and his daughter Teresita Nee Necesito Santiago, 33. He also leaves behind his brothers Camilo Santiago, June Santiago, Jesse Santiago, and sister Nora Santiago.
