Raymond Steve Williams, Jr., known as Steve, 72, of Danville, AL, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. A celebration of life service will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Oakville Christian Faith Center with Gloria Johnston officiating.
Steve is survived by his wife, Amanda; son, Michael Ray Williams (Judith); step son, Gavin DaWayne Crawford; brother, Ralph Williams (Joyce); sister, Gracie Lemons; three grandchildren, Trevor, Whitney and Seth; one close niece, Jamie Williams and other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Steve Williams, Sr. and Henrietta Clay Williams.
Steve was born on November 22, 1950 in Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1982. He was a SSG of the 101st Airborne, and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Steve’s favorite way for passing the time was fishing and helping out with his community. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
