Judy Couch Thorne, 76, of Decatur, passed away on August 16, 2022. Her visitation will be on Thursday August 18th from 1 pm until 3 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will begin at 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Thorne is survived by her husband of 51 years, David Thorne; son, Brian and his wife Jennifer; sister, Carolyn Alexander; grandkids, Becca Moser, Savannah Daly, Brianna Thorne, Samuel Thorne, and Sydney Cuchiara; great grandkids, Amarillo Reed, and Marceline Moser, plus one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Janet Thomas, and parents, Gilbert and Bernice Couch.
Judy was born and raised in Decatur; worked in and out of the home; was a member of Grant Street Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother, wife, and one of the best grandmas you could ever ask for. She will be dearly missed.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
