James Watson Carlisle, Jr. of Decatur, Alabama passed away on October 28th, 2021. His visitation will be on Tuesday, November 2nd at 1pm. The Celebration of Life will begin at 2pm at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Bobby Halbrooks officiating. Burial will follow in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
James is survived by his wife, Gail Anne Carlisle and his son, Brian Keith Carlisle.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Watson Carlisle, Sr. and his mother, Opal Cavnar Carlisle.
James graduated from Decatur High School and attended Florence State, Missouri University, and Washington University. He worked for Monsanto, Wetterau Food, and developed Love Tucky’s Yogurt shops in Decatur, Alabama.
Pallbearers include Vince Lambert, CDR (retired), Glenn Coker, and Tom Guyton.
