

Beezy (Walter D. Hussong), age 86 of Kettering and longtime residence of Greenmont Village, passed away December 28th, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia (Ginny), parents Howard D. Hussong and Dorothy J. Hall, and sisters Mary Lou and Nancy. He is survived by son Terry Boy (Jane), daughters Kathleen (Ron) and Jennifer (Dori), and extra son Rob, niece-daughter Sherry, grandchildren Sarah and Nathan (Katie), great-grandchildren Hunter, Elliette, and Benjamin, nephew Chris (Kathy), and great niece Cory (Dave) and their son Dorian. Beezy was an avid sports and horse racing enthusiast and loved going to the casino. He played baseball, softball, football, bowled and coached class F baseball and pee wee football. He was a fan of The Cincinnati Reds, OSU Buckeyes, and UD Flyers. He was also a member of the Eagles and Shamrock Club. He worked at McCalls for over 20 years then 25 years for the Kettering School System, where he retired as a hall of famer, also known as “The Legend”. Beezy lived a fabo life surrounded by his family doing all the fun things he loved to do. He loved to visit and help others and never knew a stranger. He so missed his wife, Ginny, when she left this world. He now resides in Heaven. They are together again; to know them was to love them. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. Friends may visit Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Please join the family at Greenmont Hall on Thursday, January 4 for a lunch and a celebration of Beezy’s life at 1pm.
