Thomas Richard Schwieterman

Schwieterman, Thomas Richard, 69, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Heartland of Centerville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Florence (Wilker) Schwieterman and his aunt Dorothy L. (Wilker) Monas. He is survived by his wife Susan Schwieterman of Dayton; daughter Jennifer Schieterman; granddaughter Khloe Martin; special cousin Diane Monas of Dayton; his in laws Wilfred and Evelyn Scott of Virginia; brother-in-law Thomas Royal of Virginia; nieces and nephew Tara Richardson, Lucas Royal, Mollie Royal and Aimee Royal. Thomas was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1964. Thomas retired from the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer. He enjoyed serving in the Navy for over twenty years on numerous ships. His special love was his cats Sammi, Sydi, Saddie, and Butterscotch. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Celebrant Erin Theodore officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home at the time of service. Scattering of Cremated Remains will be performed by the U.S. Navy at a later date.
