Thomas Edward Finn

Finn, Thomas Edward, 86, of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Finn, infant son Scott Edward Finn, twin great-grandsons Austin M. and Aidan S. Gordon, parents Bill and Alice Helton, Edward and Delpha P. Finn (birth parents), brother Jack Helton and sister Janet Mae Sumner. He is survived by his daughter Pamela J. Gordon of Beavercreek; son Michael T. (Nancy) Finn of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Tamara S. Gordon, Gary (Latishia)Gordon, Cassandra J. (Scott) Rinehart, Kevin M. Finn; great grandchildren Hailey R. Callison, twins Caitlin Gordon and Taylor M. Gordon. He was a member of the Mystic Lodge #405 F & AM, the Antioch Shrine, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. He retired from General Motors (Delco Products) after 49 years of service and was a veteran of WWII in the US Army-Air Corp. Tom was known to teach many a young duck hunter to bag his limit. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Michael T. Finn will officiate services. Interment Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Friday. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
