Rosemarie Herman

Rose Marie Herman, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Rosemarie was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 18, 1937 to Joseph and Elizabeth Hrachovina, who preceded her in death.

On November 14, 1959, she married James M. Herman, who survives her. Rosemarie and Jim went on to have many adventures, the greatest of which is their extended family. Rosemarie was the epitome of kindness and she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with her “girls”, as well as bingo with her sister and special cousins.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, Rosemarie is survived by her 3 children, James J. Herman (Sheila), Amy E. Kaether (Jim Ebert) and Joseph J. Herman (Lori); 6 grandchildren, Zachery Loeber (Kara Lynn), Ashley Dupps (Dave), Matthew Herman, Kara Rose Frey (Jeff), Michael Herman (Morgan McPherson and Ben Herman; 4 great-grandchildren, Krewe Frey, Kinsley Frey, Nash Dupps and Madilyn Loeber. Rosemarie is also survived by 2 sisters, Joan Sanborn and Carol Czepiel (Ed), as well as many cousins and special friends.

Visitation for Rosemarie will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the next day, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 272 Bainbridge Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. Burial following the Mass is at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
