Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard A. Williams (Bill) and Roberta M. Williams, her brother, Maynard A. Williams III (Bill), her daughter, Robin R. Ridout, and her special grand “chick”, Sarah A. Quinn.
Her memory lives on in her beloved family, including sons, Robert J. Ridout (with Deb), and Roderick D. Ridout (with Diane), daughters, Roxanna L. Quinn (with Frank), and Randi M. Hartline, grandchildren Amanda, Tyler, Kelsey, Angel (with James), Alex, Harrison (Lee), Hayden, and great-grands Audrey, Kendall, Rowan, Gemma, Phoebe, and Robin Elwood. In addition, her much-loved brother-in-law, Craig Ridout, and niece Barbie remember her fondly.
Bobbie was born in Chicago, lived much of her life in Mishawaka, IN, married and accompanied Bob Ridout with their five children to Lima, OH, Des Moines, IA, and then to Dayton, OH, where she masterfully raised her children as a single parent.
Having graduated High School as Salutatorian, Bobbie entered the workforce after years of homemaking, working and retiring as executive secretary at Intel Corporation. She loved reading novels and playing word games, doing jigsaw puzzles, was an avid football fan (Go, Notre Dame!), and absolutely loved her cats, feeding all the neighborhood strays, squirrels and birds. She was a movie buff and science fiction freak, but mostly she loved and followed her Lord Jesus Christ, whom she is now forever adoring.
In lieu of flowers, Bobbie would be honored for you to continue her legacy of donating to rescue abandon cats. Thumb’s Place is a local cat rescue which feeds, shelters and spays stray cats. They currently host thirty cats and kittens, with more coming every day.
