EDWARDS Sr., Robert Neil “Bob”, age 92 of Kettering went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Bob was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 16, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. and Evelyn I. Edwards; brother, Clifford W. Edwards and son, Carl L. Edwards. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Rebecca; daughter, Cindy L. (Tom) Howitz; sons, Robert N. Edwards Jr. and Curtis L. Edwards; grandson, Robert L. Edwards and brother, Joe M. Edwards, along with many other family and friends. Bob was a member of the Air National Guard from 1948-1957. He took flying lessons in the 50s and flew solo. He enjoyed building and flying quarter scale radio controlled airplanes and belonged to two clubs, Western Ohio Radio Kontrol Society (WORKS) and Flying Aero Sport Team (FAST). Bob worked for the NCR Corporation for over 28 years.
