Rita D. Franz

Franz, Rita D.,age 88, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion B. Franz, in 2008, her son, Tom in 2004 and her grandson, Jason Franz in 2013. Rita is survived by her son, Mike Franz, of Kettering; two daughters, Connie Chambers and David Hughes, of Kettering, Dorothy and husband, Nick Chaconas, of MD; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Franz, of Huber Heights; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge #73. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014, from The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, with Father Chris Worland as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the mass on Monday.
