I remember Rich and I growing up going to to (Field) elementary school in East Chicago, Indiana every day and playing outside after with friends. We were always good friends through High school and after, I have a lot of good  memories he will be missed and in my prayers.  David J. Gutierrez

Sending love and prayers. I was lucky enough to meet your family when I first came to California. I knew Jaclyn and Lucy first from work, but when I met Jay, it was like I had known him. He was so impressive in cycling activities and loving and encouraging in his words. 

His instance lovebfor my family spoke volumes, and he will be remembered.

Uncle Richard was such a great uncle and his love for his family was immeasurable.  He always made it a point to visit whenever he was in town and his visits were always fun!  Listening to him and my Dad  talk was hilarious!   I will miss him so very much!!  He will always be dear to me!!  I pray peace and comfort over Aunt Lucy, Shannon, David, Andrey and Jaclyn. Our Uncle Richard was always so positive and full of energy when he would come back home visiting. He would share his adventures with us nieces and nephews from traveling across the world while in the Air Force. He was our glamorous uncle and we looked forward to seeing him.  He had such love for his wife and children and always talked about all their doings.  He brought the family together when he was in town as you can see in the picture with Aunt Narcissa and his namesake, cousin Richard. 

Our thoughts  snd prayers are with Lucy and all the children.  We will miss our Uncle Richard. 

Uncle Richard always made time for his family visits. We loved his surprise visits when we opened the door and there he was with his bueatiful smile and wonderful laugh. My husband Sandor and Uncle Richard would love to play chess together as our children played together. My heart goes out to my Aunt Lucy and our cousins.I know our other Heavenly family members are celebrating  his entrance into heaven.

Lucy and family..... I am without words. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Rich. He was a wonderful man great soccer coach.  My memory was of your sweet pup Pearl and our family adopting her from your family. However. Every time we were at a soccer game and Pearl would hear one of your voices she would go running across the field to greet you guys. Pearl lived to the age of 17. I will never forget that sweet pup and your amazing family. RIP Richard my prayers and love are with you and your family. 

Lucy, my deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband.  May God grant you and your family His consoling grace  during this sorrowful time.  I pray that your sadness will turn to joy and peace every time  you remember Richard and how he touched the lives of his family and friends.  May God bless you in His peace.
