Richard C.Antolini, age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Angela (Scarpone) Antolini and his brother and sister-in-law, Lois and James McCarthy. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta Antolini. He is also survived by three daughters: Michele Powers and husband Jim, Denise Devery and husband Brent, and Lisa Miller and husband David. Eight grandchildren also survive him: Lauren and Caroline Powers, Danielle, Elise, and Richard Devery, and Angela, Cara, and Nicholas Miller. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, William Battisti and wife Carole. A loving and devoted husband and father, Richard was a 1960 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and retired from the U.S. Navy. Following his retirement, he was an instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St, Dayton, OH 45402 at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22. Friends may call on the family from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church on Wednesday. Interment with military honors will be in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either the Down Syndrome Association or Autism Society in Richard’s memory.
