Peggy JoAnn Mickle

Peggy JoAnn Mickle (Hayslip), 82, of Xenia, Ohio passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was born on October 4, 1939 to Jay and Viola Hayslip (Smith). She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Sandra Shaw, Linda Webb, and Ronald Hayslip. She was the eldest of fifteen siblings; surviving her, Phyllis (Roy) Adams, Becky (Greg) Holiday, Cindy Hayslip, Richard (Paulette) Hayslip, Mike (Debbie) Hayslip, John (Missy) Henderson, Leslie (John) Janzack, Kevin (Cathy) Hayslip, Bridget (Larry) Eagle, Susan Hayslip, and Jay Hayslip Jr.

She is survived by her son Mike Mickle of Xenia who resided with and cared for her, two grandchildren Amee & Sean Mickle, and a bonus granddaughter Kaitlyn Williams. She is also survived by her stepmother Carol Hayslip, numerous nieces and nephews, & cousins who all loved her.

Peggy retired from Greenwood Manor nursing facility and became a stay at home mother. She loved reading, puzzle books, going on rides to sight-see and garages sales with her sisters. Her favorite music was Elvis Presley and Stevie Ray Vaughn, and psalms 23 was her best enjoyed chapter in the bible.

Most of all, her family was her greatest joy, and she will be very missed by many.
