Patricia Lynn Banks (Kilby), 68, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. Patricia was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and is preceded in death by her husband Ted Banks and god parents Ben and Ada Mae Kight. She is survived by her mother Aimee Voehringer, 3 daughters, Chris (Keith McAllen) Banks of Dayton, Jenny (Mike) Pron of New Jersey, Rachel (Doug) Brannon of Centerville, brother-in-law Bill (Judy) Banks; 4 grandchildren Lianna and Jason Pron, Carter and Dylan Brannon and her many furry and shelled grandbabies. Pat took great pride in graduating from the Miami Valley School of Nursing in 1969 and in 1983 she earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Wright State University. During her fulfilling 35-year long nursing career, Pat was able to touch lives through in-patient care, home health care, and as a medical fraud expert for the U.S. Department of Justice. Pat loved to sew and quilt, was an avid card player and enjoyed bowling. She also adored cooking and baking for loved ones and friends. Pat was an incredibly kind, generous, independent, bright, funny and loving person who will be unbelievably missed. A gathering of Friends and Sharing of Remembrances will be held Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Cox Arboretum; please arrive at 1 pm.
