Norma Jean Stephens, age 80 of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born to Truman and Mary Spear on August 23, 1939 in Albertville, Alabama.
She is survived by her three loving sons, Mark Stephens and wife Grace; David Stephens and wife Nicole, and Michael Stephens and wife Danielle; five grandchildren, Michelle, Marcus, Jenny, Jaxon and Emilia; and one brother, Ron Spear and wife Rhea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby; and brother Norman Spear. In addition to Alabama, Norma raised her family in Warrington, Pennsylvania before settling in Dayton. She lived in the Dayton area for 40 years and was a dedicated member of First Baptist Kettering.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429. Dr. Chad Keck will officiate. Interment will follow at David's Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
