MATLOW, Nancy (Van Epps) of Riverside, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Dayton Wednesday September 14, 2022. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul Matlow Jr.; parents Lucille and Kenneth Van Epps; brothers, Bob and Dale Van Epps and sisters, Donna Dangler and Patty Russ. Formerly from Michigan Center, MI, Nancy is survived by children, Debbie Northcutt of Fairborn; Pam (Terry) Prater of Riverside; Paul (Amy) Matlow of Beavercreek; sister, Linda Bevier, grandchildren; Jessica (Andy) Polly, Bill Matlow and Fiancé Caitlin Wolff, Jason (Ashleigh) Northcutt, Justin Northcutt, Jamie (Chris) Lake, Levi Matlow, Lucy Matlow, and Wendy (Jose) Mendoza, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Nancy was dedicated to her longtime employment in Nursing Homes across the country. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Paul and their kids while he was in the military; Alaska being her favorite location. She finished her career working in medical records which was entirely self-taught. Nancy’s family was the light of her life. She enjoyed traveling up to Michigan to spend time with her beloved family and bond over their shared love of music. Nancy also enjoyed spending time cooking for and taking care of the family as much as possible. She even changed her career focus to become a full time caretaker for her grandchildren Levi and Lucy while Paul and Amy were working. Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 from 2:00-3:30 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH, 45432 with a memorial service to follow at 3:30 pm. Contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made out to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
