Michael Burlin Landis Jr.

Landis Jr., Michael B. “Mike”, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was born June 19, 1984 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael (Marion) Landis Sr. and Karen (Joseph) Ede. Mike is preceded in death by his niece Claire Landis, Grandfathers; Officer William Johnson, Lester B. Harris, and Grandmother; Kathleen Bozarth. He is survived along with his parents by his loving wife Kerri Landis; sons Michael B. Landis III and Aiden M. Landis; grandparents George (Kathy) Landis, and Alice Love; brother Mathew (Chelsea) Landis; niece Everleigh; step-brothers Nick Stivers, Kevin (Ashley) O’ Connor and many other family members and dear friends. Mike graduated from Miamisburg High School in 2002 and proudly joined the service right after. Michael served honorably in the United States ARMY next to many brave souls he called his brothers and sisters. He was a true patriot and was proud of his country. True love is rare, and only comes once. Mike found his. He and Kerri were married September 5, 2003 and she stood right along his side through his years of service in the military. They traveled the world together and had many great adventures including the greatest of all, parenthood. They shared the love of two sons, who both meant the world to Mike. He was so proud of his boys and served as their mentor in their endeavors. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that he loved.
