Michael James Brinkman (Mick), age 74, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 27, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Louis and Wanda Brinkman.
Mick grew up in Beavercreek and graduated from Carroll High School. He later settled in Huber Heights, drawn to its diverse community. With over 25 years of experience as a property manager and maintenance
professional, Mick honed his skills early on by building fences and maintaining apartments and buildings, a craft he took pride in throughout his life.
Mick had a zest for life and a passion for all things fast and fun. He was known for cruising in his Mach 1 Mustang, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his loyal German Shepherds—Chewy, Cooper, and
Wiley. Whether at work or play, Mick’s enthusiasm and love for a good time was infectious, and he always made the most of every moment with a big smile and an even bigger story to tell.
Mick is preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Turben and Lisa Timmons, and brother, Chuck Brinkman.
He is survived by his two children, Michael James Morris of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Megan Michelle Gladwell of Kettering, Ohio, and his three grandchildren, Sarah, Savannah, and Trey.
