Michael Thomas Bergman, age 71, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Dayton on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Michael was born October 8, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to parents Glen Edward and Marcella (Berchou) Bergman who preceded him in death. Also preceding Mike in death is a brother David Bergman and a sister-in-law Diana Bergman.
Mike is survived by his wife Linda (Lindsey) Bergman; children Laura (Bergman) Byrnes (Jonas) and Michael L. Bergman; grandchildren, Andrew Bergman, Katie Bergman, Ella Bergman, Rowan Byrnes, and Maya Byrnes; brothers, Glen Bergman, Paul (Sharon) Bergman; sister, Barbara (Michael) Smith; brother-in-law, James Lindsey, sister-in-law Sharon Passero, Suzanne Lindsey and Jenny Bergman.
Mike worked for the U.S. Postal Service for years and also enjoyed a number of hobbies, including golf, baseball and woodworking. He was an avid Reds, Bengals and Buckeyes fan. Mike enjoyed the beach, classic rock, cold beer, friends and his family. He was a good friend, a great dad and a loving husband. He never “half-assed” anything. His friends and family would describe him as witty, sarcastic, kind, wise and encouraging. We will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
