Marilyn Gale Kraft, nee Heringer, of Dayton, Ohio, born on March 23, 1941 passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer on June 23, 2024. She was born in Bellevue, Kentucky to Charles and Mary Heringer. She graduated from La Salette Academy in Covington, Kentucky in 1959. She is preceded in death by her father, mother and 3 brothers: Charles, Jr., James, and Lawrence.
Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by Ed, her husband of 59 years; her three children Dan (Beth), Carrie Vest (Joe) and Aaron (Lisa); six grandchildren, Taylor, Katie, Kelsey, Emma, Grace, and Nathan; many nieces, nephews and friends that will all miss her dearly.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, showering them with love and support in all their endeavors. Marilyn never met a stranger. She had a gift for making everyone feel like they were a longtime friend.
We are convinced Marilyn was warmly greeted with open arms by her family and friends when she arrived in Heaven.
The family will hold a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 on Monday, July 8, 2024 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45429. Final resting place will be at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Fort Thomas, KY. Arrangements entrusted to Tobias Funeral Home.
