Loretta Downey Dreyer, age 93, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She graduate from Maine Township High School in Park Ridge, Illinois and a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Evansville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband Gale Dreyer, her parents Dr. Gerald Downey and Bess Hunt Downey, sisters Dolores Gross and Shirley James. Loretta is survived by her daughter Diane Scholl Crouch (Larry deceased), sons, James Scholl and Jolene, and Gerald Scholl, M.D., grandchildren Charles Crouch (Hallie), Kent Scholl and Katlyn Scholl. Private service will be held at a later date.
