Larry Joseph Nagy

Larry is survived by his loving wife Janice Nagy, Children; Jeff Nagy of Beavercreek, Ohio, Jessica (Tim) Nichols of Cumming, Georgia, Kimberly (Jay) Barnhart of Tipp City, Ohio, Erica Baum of Kettering, Ohio, Grandchildren; Layla Shropshire, Jaxson Barnhart, Kayla Philipson, Sarah Nichols, Connor Nichols, Emily Nichols, Sisters; Cindy (Phillip) Rios of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jill (Jim) Lynch of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jayne (Daniel) Rutherford of New Mexico, and Pets; Buddy and Chewy whom miss him dearly.

Larry graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1965. Following High School he enlisted into the United States Army where he served in Vietnam as a tank mechanic for two years. After serving in the military Larry went on to ITT Technical Institute where he graduated in 1971 with an Associate’s Degree in architectural engineering technology.

He began working for General Motors/ Delphi as a supervisor for 32 years and also at Meijer in Huber Heights and Beavercreek for 28 years. Larry enjoyed working and worked two jobs for many years. He finally retired from all his jobs in 2022. He was a proud U.S. Military veteran and was a member of the VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek. He also was an avid animal lover. Larry fed birds, cats, and squirrels daily. He especially loved his two dogs Buddy and Chewy.

Larry loved to make anyone he met laugh. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Thursday July 18, 2024 from 10:00-12:00 pm. A burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park in Beavercreek, Ohio.
