Kenneth Edward Best

Best, Kenneth Edward, age 71, of Beavercreek, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015, at the Kindred Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Dayton on August 18, 1943, the son of Thomas M. and Ruth S. Best, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lee Best in 1968. Kenneth is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann Carr, of CA; 2 brothers, Thomas K. Best, of Butler Township, Gary Dale and wife, Marlys Best, of KS; his lifelong friend, Danny Osborne, of Beavercreek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kenneth was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1962 and retired from General Motors after 28 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from Beaver United Church of Christ, 1960 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH with Pastor Brian Eastman officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
