Kathleen Faye Trout Washabaugh

Known as "Katie" to her friends was killed in a multiple vehicle accident on Friday Feb. 13, 2015. She leaves behind 3 children: Julie Marie Trout, Tesla Nicole Washabaugh and Aaron Michael Washabaugh. Born June 28, 1980 to Thomas J Trout (Katherine) and Jo Deane (Trout) Marshall (Allen). She is survived by her parents and her Grandmother Doris Trout of South Pasadena, FL. She also leaves behind Brothers, Jean B. Trout (Kati) and Matthew A. Trout. Sisters, Brandy E. (Trout) Edens (Jared), Suzanne N. (Trout) Anderson, Christina A.R. (Suico) Splawinski, and Sarah A.Trout. She also leaves behind her estranged husband, Clint Washabaugh, who remained her friend through the years and her "other mom" Margaret Washabaugh. Katie's much loved best friend her entire life, Rebecca (Duncan) Shabazz and her family. She also leaves to mourn numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. Katie was an impromptu rescuer of any animal in need. She had a giant sense of humor that would catch those around them and make them laugh. She loved her children fiercely. We pray you have peace in your new journey Kate. You are sadly missed. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation from 11:00am until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
