Lyons, June M., age 89, passed away on Thursday August 13, 2015. June worked as a salesperson for Ball Stores in Muncie, IN. She served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. She was a devoted lover of all cats and she volunteered for over 20 years at WPAFB Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naoma and Osa Parks, and by a sister, Lou Tuttle. She is survived by two sons, John J. (Rochelle) Lyons and Kevin D. (Brenda) Lyons; sisters, Beverly Brunelle and Patsy Youngkin; grandchildren, Nicholas (Erica) Lyons, Dustin Lyons, Tony Winner, Cheryl Lewis and Kelly Lively; great grandchildren, Nora Lyons, Jonathan Winner, Laren Lively, and Kyle Lively. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday August 27th at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
