IRETON, Judith Age 86 of Beavercreek, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years John "Ed" Ireton and sons Jim Ireton and Chuck Ireton. She is survived by her children Joan Price, Lynn Scherer and John Ireton, grandchildren Ben Scherer, Jackie Fischer, Carrie Chambers, Josh Price, Megan Scherer, Stephanie Bante, Jenna Perkins, and Jordan Ireton, and 20 great-grandchildren. Judy was an avid genealogist and wrote a book on the Ireton family. She was part of a quilting guild and played the dulcimer as well as many other instruments. Music was important to Judy. She and her husband Ed were the owners of the music store Noteably Yours and attended numerous musical festivals where they performed. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to BestFriends.org (Animal Rescue).
