Fulton, John W. “Jack” age 86, of German Township, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Heartland of Springfield. He was born on July 23, 1926 in Phillipsburg, PA, the son of the late Malcolm and Bertha (Hoffman) Fulton. He was married for 54 1/2 years to Doris A. Stoddart and she survives him.
He is also survived by his son, Wm. Timothy Fulton (Diane); daughter, Joni (Mark) Grout; grandchildren Joey (Emily) Booze, Kari (Julie) Snyder, Kate (Martin) Stanton, Justin Fulton, Kelley Booze and Terry Rickmon, Philip Fulton, Krista Booze and Chris Patch; great-grandchildren Christopher and Molly Stanton, Noah and Kayla Booze as well as other extended family.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his infant sister.
Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy in the Philippine Islands and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1951. He worked and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as an Aerospace Engineer. After retirement he began carpentry work with his good friends for many years. Jack was an accomplished musician and enjoyed woodworking, crossword puzzles, and most importantly his dogs.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Russell Morgan officitating. Military Honors will be performed by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard following the service. Arrangements in care of Tobias Funeral Home- Belmont Chapel.
