BROWN, James L., Jr., age 65 of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Kettering Medical Center. James was born on September 19, 1946 in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Brown, Sr. He is survived by his mother Edith (Hartman) Brown, his beloved sons, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Brown and Jason Brown; grandchildren, Ian, Alec, Elise and Jonah Brown; brother, Richard (Dale Kennedy) Brown; sister, Carmen (Steve) Michaels; nephews, Zachary and Vincent Michaels; and dear friends, Nancy & Sherm Stanley and Curt & Deanna McCormick. Jim was a 1964 graduate of Fairmont High School and Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Jim enjoyed attending the Dayton Dragons Baseball games.
