Asbury, Hazel H., age 93 of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was born in Wise County, VA to the late Martha and Taylor Clark. She was a member of the Big Door Baptist Church in Lee County, VA, where she has a farmhouse that has been in her family for many years. Retired from Elder-Beerman in the Dayton area where she worked in gift wrapping. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Ora Eugene Asbury, 7 siblings, grandson, Ian Asbury, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two sons: Terrance Asbury (Brenda), and Stephen Alan Asbury (Sandra); grandchildren Kollette Windam (Ronnie), Sean (Diane) Asbury, Trent Asbury, Dawn Shelton, granddaughter-in-law, Kelly Asbury and; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Staley, Cody Shelton, Skylar Asbury, Mitchell Asbury, Travis Asbury, and Alyssa James.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1st at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel with the visitation from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5th at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA.
